The greatest revolution in our generation is that of human beings, who by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.

Why Argyle?  Why Guild?

Argyle is a geometric pattern of different colors on a solid background.

The colors range from rich to poor, beautiful to quite hideous.

Yet they are knit together to form a whole cloth and garment

that goes in and out of fashion and often annoys people.

Seems like a decent metaphor.

If you're an opinionated political junkie, you don't need more than that.

Guild, which is defined as

an association of people with similar interests or pursuits,

also has a medieval and slightly romantic flavor.

That sounded good, too.

Wearing argyle to a guild meeting will earn respect

and possibly free gifts and prizes.  But maybe not.
